Just another Swiss masterpiece on inginery, the world's longest pedestrian suspention bridge has been inaugurated on the 29th of July 2017, near the village of Randa, canton of Valais, Switzerland. The bridge is 494 meters long, 65 cm wide and sits 85 meters above the valley. The breathtaking bridge offers stunning views of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn and Bernese Alps. The cost for building the world's longest pedestrin suspension bridge was around 750.000 CHF and it took 10 weeks to be build. It is called " Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge " after the name of its main sponsor. There are two ways to reach it: from Randa (aprox.2-2.5 hours walk) or from Grachen or Zermatt (aprox.6-7 hours).
