Admire the Swiss Riviera from Mont Pelerin Plein Ciel

The Swiss Riviera is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Switzerland . To admire the entire place you can take a boat trip on Lake Geneva (or Lake Leman how it is called by the Swiss) or go somewhere up the mountins. Being a sunny day I choosed to take a trip to Mont Pelerin Plein Ciel and go up the Swiscomm Tower. Thus I got a spectacular view of the entire Swiss Riviera area. The tower is not really well known, so there are no crowds. The Tower Plein Ciel is 123m high and is on the summit of Mont Pelerin at 1084m.  The panoramic glass elevator will take you up 63m to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Swiss Riviera and of the Jura mountins and the Alps. The view from up above is really breathtaking. It is especially recommended to come here in May-June because the mountains are covered with Narcisses ( Daffodils). The locals call this "May's Snow". You can see here some great pictures with the Daffodils  from Les Avants. For sure I will go back in May to see the flowers. To arrive in Les Avants is easy: either by...
