An amazing video hike in Switzerland

Image
Bisse du Torrent Neuf is a superb mountain hike in Switzerland , easy to walk alongside family, friends and children. The hike will offer you spectacular, unbelievable views that will always remain in your memory. You will go through the forest, along the mountains, through a tunnel and cross 4 magnificent suspended bridges. With luck, you can see black goat families on the alpine meadows, just a few inches away from you. The hike takes about 4 hours, but it depends on how much you want to stop for pictures or if you want to make a picnic. Bisse du Torrent Neuf is located in the canton of Valais, a few kilometers from the city of Sion . Access and parking are free, and you can make a donation for volunteers along the route. A great view from the Swiss hike of Bisse de Torrent Neuf In order to better understand the route, it is important to clarify the name. Bisse, in the Valais area, means a channel, a few centimeters wide, used for irrigation or water supply for the mills...

Just another Swiss masterpiece on inginery, the world's longest pedestrian suspention bridge has been inaugurated on the 29th of July 2017, near the village of Randa, canton of Valais, Switzerland. The bridge is 494 meters long, 65 cm wide and sits 85 meters above the valley. The breathtaking bridge offers stunning views of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn and Bernese Alps. The cost for building the world's longest pedestrin suspension bridge was around 750.000 CHF and it took 10 weeks to be build. Admire the Swiss Riviera from Mont Pelerin Plein Ciel

Image
The Swiss Riviera is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Switzerland . To admire the entire place you can take a boat trip on Lake Geneva (or Lake Leman how it is called by the Swiss) or go somewhere up the mountins. Being a sunny day I choosed to take a trip to Mont Pelerin Plein Ciel and go up the Swiscomm Tower. Thus I got a spectacular view of the entire Swiss Riviera area. The tower is not really well known, so there are no crowds. The Tower Plein Ciel is 123m high and is on the summit of Mont Pelerin at 1084m.  The panoramic glass elevator will take you up 63m to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Swiss Riviera and of the Jura mountins and the Alps. The view from up above is really breathtaking. Geneva Lake seen from Mont Pelerin Plein Ciel To reach this tower there are many options: - take the funiculaire Vevey to Mont Pelerin and then by foot or bike - by foot from Vevey (it will take around 3 hours) - with the bike (the roads are very good, bu...

During the Easter Holiday I took a short Swiss hike  in the moutains and I will let you know how you can also enjoy these magic places. In this article you will find out about a easy and beautiful walking route in Swiss Apls and, at the end, you can enjoy the movie that I have made during this trip. A Swiss cottage Our hike took about 4 hours, with a 30 minutes break and took place in one of the most beautiful area: Les Avants , on top of the Swiss Riviera . Les Avants is a small Swiss village, with around 300 inhabitants and it is situated at 1000 meters altitude. It is especially recommended to come here in May-June because the mountains are covered with Narcisses ( Daffodils). The locals call this "May's Snow". You can see here some great pictures with the Daffodils  from Les Avants. For sure I will go back in May to see the flowers. To arrive in Les Avants is easy: either by...
