To go to the Peak Walk by Tissot, you have two options:
- Walk to the peak. But it is a rather difficult and long walk because you will have to reach the height of 2966m. So, you really have to be in a good physical shape.
- By cable car. You can take the cable car from Col du Pillon (1546 m) and reach Scex Rouge (2950 m) terminus point. The cable car station is just at the main road so it is easy to reach it. The ride to the peak has one intermediary station where you will change the cable car.
The main touristic attraction of the area
is, by far, the Peak Walk by Tissot that has been inaugurated in 2014. It is the
only suspension bridge in the world that connects two mountain peaks: the
smaller peak View Point (2.966m high) to the higher peak Scex Rouge (2966 m
high). The bridge is 107 m long and 80cm wide. From it you can admire all the
great Alps: Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Eiger and Jungfrau. The Peak Walk is free
of charge.
